PHOTOGRAPHIC WORKSHOP WITH ALEX MADJITEY

Myself and Amy decided to make a massive hanger - we had been told that we had been more focused on creating meal deals rather than representing the vintage clothes element. These were our best images - I then wanted to play around with compositions and create some edits.
These were the most successful images we made in the workshop.
This edit was the least successful - I took one of our original disposable images and layered the rail on top with the background removed. This however wasn't enough and I wanted to take it further.
I took an image from our Rokit Vintage shoot and layered on this edit I made. I really liked how the edit merges into the screen and looks as if its actually playing.
I then took this the screen element and created a film still basically - at the very start we were very inspired by film stills and yellow text and the aesthetic surrounding that. I like the effect I achieved with this, even though it doesn't best represent both elements, I like the aesthetic and the relation to film stills.
I wanted to create an edit where the rail was in the background of the image and having the foreground this weird television. Again, where this doesn't work as well I still think the concept is quite interesting. I really like the colours and the vintage feel of the television.
I then decided that I wanted the rail to be the focus and I changed the layer to dissolve and inverted the image. This gave me a blank background with the focus mainly on the rail and meal deals.
